Why Our Racial, Ethnic and DNA Matters?!
Ever feel disconnected, adrift or maybe just a bit ungrounded? In the face of all the conversation happening this last week around racial discrimination and violence, I feel all these things just a little bit more. All the attention on racial and ethnic background has often left us all thinking a-lot about “how do we fit in?”.
Last Friday's Goddess Talk guest speaker, Tien Neo Eamas, touched on all the hot topics, gender, race, environment and religion. It was a perfect discussion at the end of a tumultuous week.
With Women’s history month and our inquiries about our own history as the backdrop, he shared with us his unique perspective about how we are disconnected from our roots. And how this disconnection can leave us feeling adrift or confused about our place or role in society as a whole.
Tien offers, our general distance from our own ethnic and heritage roots, alongside our disconnection with the natural world, leaves a hole in our experience of ourselves and our place in the world.

I have this book in both paperback and audible. I highly recommend this option, as I noticed I got very different things from listening to it than I did from reading. Plus the reader's voice is fantastic.
