We are sending the content we have developed for our Goddess Living Community Membership with everyone for this first month. Please enjoy this weeks tip for your very own Goddess Living!
What better week for our 'Goddess Embodiment' practice than the week before we all eat WAY more than we typically would! Yes more than even all those pandemic baking projects have called for.
Why Heart-Fullness?
We chose to use the term heart-fullness to refer to the inquiry into and the awareness of, our emotional selves and our experience of self. In virtually every spiritual path, the 'heart center" is considered to be a portal to the Devine.
“Within the body, there is a Center in which the sensation of this All-Pervasive Consciousness is felt. This is the Center where we point when we say ‘I.’ This Center is the Spiritual Heart ..." ~ Yogi Bhajan
"The awareness of the Heart Center in itself reveals an intuitive evidence, a feeling of Truth, of Love. It brings a natural fulfillment, a blossoming of love, harmony, of being perfectly in tune with the Whole. The openness of the soul, feelings of freedom, joy, and love are natural expressions of the awareness of the Heart Center. There is an inherent freedom and happiness in the awareness of the Heart Center." ~ https://hridaya-yoga.com/
We say heart-fullness is an important aspect of Goddess Living. That is to say, living as our fullest expression and fully with our feminine side. It is often said about women, they're "too emotional" or "too sensitive" or "not objective". These statements are almost always made in relationship to some emotional expression. BUT, what if these emotional expressions are a super power? To find out, we must begin getting more acquainted with the strength of our emotional center, aka our heart center.
"You not only allow it, you’re in the midst of it, you’re one with it. You’re really it, you let it happen, you feel it fully, you sense it fully, you experience it fully, right? That’s the contribution of the heart center." ~ Diamond Heart Book Three; Being and the Meaning of Life by A. H. Almaas
"Not only do our physical senses need to become more vivid and intense, we need to bring in subtler senses as well. We need to sense our bodies and our inner sensations more deeply and clearly. We also need to open the heart center so we can feel our emotions and our feeling states more intimately and vividly. And we need to have greater clarity, spaciousness, and quietness in our mind to be able to perceive thoughts and their processes." ~ A.H. Almas Spacecruiser Inquiry
As you can likely tell, the topic of our Heart Spiritual Center and our Emotional Health is a HUGE topic. Each month, we will bring more perspectives and practices designed to support us busy (aka slightly overwhelmed?) women in the evolution of our emotional well-being.
