Given all that is happening (and has happened the last 2 years), we thought it was a good time to dig into our emotional wellness.
With so much happening in the world that is scary and impactful in both big and small ways, we are all being significantly impacted by strong and often conflicting emotions.
We see the devastation happening in Ukraine, the total silencing and trapped experience of our Russian friends and countless other local and global issues. When we see and hear these things, even on the periphery, we feel the agitation, upset, dislocation and most of all uncertainty and helplessness.
This prompted Goddess Living content maven, Lettecia, to offer a series on the 7 Chakras.
The Chakras are an ancient Indian approach to balance and wellness. They refer to a holistic energy system in the human body that correlates to physical, mental, emotional, energetic and spiritual elements of our being.
Here is a Chart of the different Chakra's in the system.

The Root Chakra is an especially important place to start, given everything happening in the world. Bringing awareness to, and working with, our Root Chakra, we can create a stronger sense of stability and power. We literally “ground” ourselves, and start to experience the stability of being “rooted.”
Using the chart below you can look to see what having your Root Chakra in balance or out of balance might look like. There are also some things you can do to bring the balance back.
When we take these actions, we are nurturing the Root of our life force.
